A bit about Phoenix Hardcore history that reads something like Earth's entry in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...
A bit about Mad Gardens, where the front cover pic was taken.
We're going to switch lanes here real quick and delve into an album that helped form the soundtrack of my
high-school life back in the early 80's.
There was some buzz on the Exotica list about early-80's punk awhile back, so I figure this is fair game -
sure, it ain't TSOL or Shattered Faith, but this is the punk rock of my youth as a bored kid with a
new driver's license, and it's what I loved.
Anyway, enjoy this slice of the AZ Punk Scene, circa 1980's. Sure brings back fuct-up memories for me.
